What strange times we live in. As we try to work our way through the simultaneous information deluge and desert during this pandemic, here are some of the more idiotic types of things that I've heard over the past few months:

• "It's just like the flu" -- full disclosure, this was one of the more idiotic things that I said early on when I thought that the news media was doing their usual "scary news headline at 11:00" type hyperbole
• "Kids can't get Covid19"
• "There's a global pandemic. Quick, let's prioritize giving as much money as possible to rich people!"
• "I'm going to drink some bleach so I don't get sick"
• "We've just started Phase 1 reopening. I guess that means things are back to normal."
• "Dr. Fauci released Covid19 from his lab in an effort to discredit the President."
•  "We should just let the virus run its course -- we're all going to get it sooner or later."
• "Patriotic Americans should be willing to sacrifice themselves for the economy."
